5 October 2024 Unterricht - "ich war schon mal in Berlin"

 Hallo

In class this Saturday we will focus on the following:

* word order in German (especially with "details of place" and "details of time")

* saying where you've been in German (with the phrases "schon mal" and "noch nie")

We will listen to this song from Udo Jürgens. The most important part is the line "ich war noch niemals..."

Hello Advanced Adult Class!

Here is some material that we've been looking at/will be looking at:

* If you haven't already, check out ChatGPT. It speaks German. You can ask it any questions you want. It's just a fun way to practice typing and reading German with a VERY patient speaking partner (that won't switch to English if you don't want it to).

* An article about trains being cancelled in Sachsen-Anhalt (in simple German) (in regular German)

I encourage you to read this article (by me, whoops) about electronic flashcards (with built-in algorithms for efficient learning). It's a great support tool for remembering vocabulary. 

I will NOT be able to teach class on March 9th.
